Program Manager

Analytica is seeking an Associate Program Manager to manage a large high-profile federal health IT project for a federal government client in Woodlawn, MD.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud software and technology projects. 

This role will be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related projects tasks. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Formulating plans that use the most appropriate technology into designing a working solution to provide value to client by improving and streamlining business processes through efficient and effective means.
  • Overseeing client mission, vision, goals, and business objectives being considered, aligned, and planned for accordingly.
  • Overseeing and assuring the proper execution of the design into a working solution.
  • Supervising processes to verify that the design is installed, configured, reviewed, and documented to meet technical reference architecture standards, software development lifecycle methodologies, and any required governance procedures and policies.
  • 10+ years’ experience in oversight and leadership of all facets of large scale, web application development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT and/or management related field.
  • PMP and IT Infrastructure Lifecycle (ITIL) Certifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing electronic file interfaces with external systems & data vendors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with relational databases.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with communication protocols (such as HTTP).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cross system interfaces such as batch processes, cron jobs, API frameworks (SOAP, JSON etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with web-based and object oriented programming languages such as Java, .NET, C++, etc.
  • Proven awareness and understanding of client approved SDLC methodologies, IT infrastructure frameworks, Technical Reference Models, operating environments, infrastructure toolsets, and Government compliance regulations (ex. FISMA, 508 Section Compliance, and other IT mandates).
