Databricks Analyst

Analytica is seeking a Databricks Analyst to design and build advanced data pipelines for our Government clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premises software and technology projects.   Analytica is looking for bright, motivated professionals looking to continue their career in the data analytics field.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Provide statistical analysis and model development using programming languages.
  • Develop analytics solutions that are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet the expectations of the decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Perform data analysis, research and data manipulation tasks
  • Perform queries and interpret business data requests to create efficient queries
  • Directly support users by developing advanced reporting and analytics.
  • Work with project stakeholders and the software development team to develop data analysis
  • Assisting users in choosing data sources and discovering new methods for achieving goals.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis or a related analytical field.
  • 3+ years’ experience designing, developing, deploying, testing in Databricks and/or Delta Lake.
  • Strong skills in various data analysis and visualization tools including SQL Server, Tableau, Python, R, Oracle, PL/SQL (including stored procedures).
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) are a plus.
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka and Storm are also a plus.
