Senior Tableau Developer

Location: Washington, DC
Analytica is seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to be a part of a new team to develop a dashboard and visualization concepts for the Department of Homeland Security. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience required to lead in identifying, installing, configuring, developing, deploying, training and maintaining high-quality Tableau reports and dashboard visualizations based on defined customer requirements. The qualified candidate will effectively communicate with Government stakeholders to identify meaningful visualizations of anonymous person-centric data, and work with the team to identify and estimate work. 
This position will sit in Washington, DC at the Department of Homeland Security.  

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders to identify, install, configure Tableau software given defined customer requirements
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify most frequent data inquires for dashboard reporting and visualization
  • Coordinate with data analyst to identify and prepare anonymous person-centric data for dashboard consumption
  • Develop dashboards to answer Government data inquires by producing data tables and visualizations
  • Conduct dashboard UAT with Government stakeholders including the development of test scripts and establishing user roles
  • Respond and troubleshoot dashboard inquires and issues
  • Update data visualization during each reporting data refresh
  • Develop dashboard user guides and operator manuals for using and maintaining the dashboards
  • Responsible for overall Tableau code and product quality
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, installing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Tableau dashboards
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in creating custom reports using performance analytics
  • Expertise in unit and integration testing, developing test scripts, and conducting UAT to ensure reliable and quality dashboard reports and visualizations
  • Expertise in identifying work products and estimates, and completing work products on time
  • Provide advanced support for Tableau by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes, and conducting root cause analysis
  • Good interpersonal skills in communicating, writing, and presentation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to receive DHS EOD
  • Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant years
